Kiloton - Kiloton CD

CD version
Second full-length release by Kiloton.
After a short hiatus, Kiloton is back with a banger, following up to last year's debut album, "Ruine Radiante".
Thematically a continuation of the band's last EP, "Swine Slice", this album still explores themes of extreme, psychotic body dysmorphia, hatred for the self, misanthropy and utter disgust against everything and everyone that breathes in this floating sphere of waste.
30 minutes of grinding War Metal/Noise, where Kiloton uses guitars for the first time. The resulting is grand, with the bass remaining as rumbling and earthquaking as ever, but adding the clearness of riffs and utter distruction or full blown out aggression that definitely contributes for the effectiveness of Kiloton's ever spine-breaking breaks and tempo changes. The Noise elements are here at best as well, with the distorted and effect-ridden drums being present, as the band has done since the "Gears" demo, and with the use of power tools such as drills, saws and chains.
Definitely by far and large one of the best War Metal bands in recent years, and one of the few always pushing the genre to new territories. For adepts of projects like Nyogthaeblisz, Naramedha, Tsalal, Vadhakarmadhikarin, etc.
